RETURN POLICY
The terms and conditions described in this policy apply to all products purchased from our online store in Greece.

Shipping costs for the return of products are borne exclusively by the customer. The charge for transporting your products depends on the postal code of your area and the weight of the goods. The “shipping costs” that have been paid for the shipment of the products to the destination are NOT RETURNED.

Returns are only accepted if the products you received and wish to return are not commensurate with their description and should be in the same condition and packaging in which you received them and are accompanied by the sales receipt or invoice.

The return of the returned products will be possible only from the address that you had stated from the beginning for their shipment and which you have indicated to us in writing

Within 14 days from the receipt of the returned products by us and if they are in their original condition, without damage or loss, the company will return to the customer the amount of the value of these products, which has been charged to the customer using the same means of payment used by the customer for his initial transaction. The “shipping costs” paid by the customer for the receipt of materials are NOT RETURNED. In any case, the return of the price of the returned products will take place after you inform us in writing about the request for return of the products at info@cms-wood.gr and we accept their return and provided that the products are returned through the cooperating transport company and continue to be in perfect packaging and without damage.

If the returned product has been damaged or damaged by the customer’s fault or its value has been reduced by handling that is inconsistent with the use of the product, its features and function, the company will assess the value of the damage and the amount of the reduction. of value and is entitled not to accept its return.

WARRANTY TERMS
This warranty applies only to the original owner and the first installation of the product and is non-transferable. The person considered to be the first owner is the person whose name appears on the proof of purchase.

The guarantee is valid for deficiencies which concern the delivered material. This means material and construction defects recognized by the manufacturer, including peeling or reduced coating strength and excluding wear along the edges on boards larger than 5mm, in products with carved edges.

Laminate floors must be thoroughly inspected before and during installation for any defects.

All laminate floors are applied by specialized craftsmen, according to the instructions on the packaging. You must provide proof of compliance with the installation and maintenance instructions recommended by the manufacturer. These instructions are inside the packaging of each product. If instructions are missing you must obtain them from your supplier. The user must request from the installer at least one copy of the installation and maintenance instructions.

Once applied, the panels are considered of acceptable quality.

Affected areas should be at least 2 cm2 in area and easily identifiable.

Damage must not be due to abusive conditions or accidents, including mechanical damage, e.g. severe impact, scratching or abrasion (from heavy or sharp objects), burning or cutting.

The affected areas, at the edges of the boards, which are caused either by improper use or maintenance, or especially by mechanical stress are not covered by the guarantee.

The floor must be treated according to the care instructions and cleaned and maintained regularly.

Indoor floors, wood or synthetic, should not be installed in areas with high humidity levels or outdoors or in areas with particularly high temperatures (such as saunas). Only materials that have specifications for specific applications are excluded.

Moisture that remains on the floor or around the skirting board or wall bases or profiles, cleaning with a lot of liquids and the use of very strong or unsuitable cleaning products must be avoided.

The liability arising from this warranty is limited to “hidden deficiencies”, those deficiencies that were not visible before or during the installation of the floor (wooden or synthetic).

Products with visible defects must not be installed.

Any warranty claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the occurrence of the event. This must be done in writing with the original proof of purchase. In order to assess the warranty claim, we have the right to inspect the affected area on the spot or request accurate photographic material.

Once the Warranty Claim is accepted, we are committed to providing replacement material for the site.

If the affected floor is no longer available, the buyer can choose a substitute equivalent product from the current range.

As there is an annual depreciation of 10% related to the use of the floors, the replacement of the material will be carried out based on the respective annual reduced amount of the affected area.

The costs of removal and replacement of the material are borne exclusively by the buyer.

We bear absolutely no responsibility for possible secondary damage.

The above warranty does NOT apply in the following cases:

  • Entertainment or dining venues such as restaurants, cafes, pubs or nightclubs.
  • Public bodies, schools, hospitals or government buildings.
  • Heavy-duty commercial areas, including airports, entrances, schools, hairdressers.
  • Other areas with increased traffic and direct access to road traffic.

This warranty does not mention or cover the following:

  • Normal wear
  • Incomplete maintenance
  • Damage caused during transport.
  • Damage caused by incorrect installation or installation (eg failure to observe safety warnings or installation instructions).
  • Use not in accordance with the purpose and specifications of the product (eg professional use of consumer products).
  • Damage caused by water or heating system leaks, accident, fire, extreme weather, etc.
  • Damage caused by negligence or poor storage and non-compliance with the instructions for use.

Invoiced consumer products refer to professional use and therefore have the appropriate warranty, as stated on the packaging.

Corresponding consumer products purchased with a retail receipt refer to amateur use and have the guarantee of household use as stated on the packaging.
